Job Summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Wastewater Treatment Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of our Wastewater Treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control wastewater treatment plant processes and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis to determine compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties.
  • Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintain all necessary records.
  • Perform general maintenance duties of plant and other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience working in a wastewater or water treatment environment.
  • Experience with the maintenance of pumps, compressors, and plumbing fixtures or a background in maintenance is highly desirable.
  • A valid State of Georgia motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment and Collection Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in wastewater treatment work.
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical, and drug screen before employment.
