Job Overview

We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to oversee the repair and upkeep of our glass manufacturing operations. The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our machinery functions efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining the high standards of glass products that our company is renowned for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on glass production machinery, including tempering furnaces, insulated glass lines, automated cutting systems, polishing equipment, and CNC milling machines.
  • Assist and mentor production team members by troubleshooting, inspecting, and adjusting machinery as necessary.
  • Collaborate with external service providers for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Work alongside management and production teams to assess equipment maintenance requirements based on production objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by regularly maintaining work areas to comply with internal standards and safety regulations.
  • Participate in special projects aimed at supporting our growth and enhancing operational outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Strong mechanical skills, with proven troubleshooting abilities in both electrical and mechanical systems used in production equipment.
  • A proactive and analytical thinker who effectively identifies challenges and implements practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with management and colleagues.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, CNC machinery, and PLCs/Drivers and motors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the glass fabrication industry.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software.
  • Relevant certifications in mechanical or industrial fields.
