Manufacturing Production Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking candidates for two distinct roles: Machine Operator and Mechanical Assembly Technician. The responsibilities associated with these positions will be shared as follows:
- Adjust machinery to maintain parts within specified dimensional tolerances.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular quality inspections.
- Perform minor equipment repairs in the event of breakdowns.
- Utilize various jigs and fixtures for layout and assembly tasks.
- Manage inventory, receive, and organize large steel stock bundles; retrieve materials and load machines as necessary.
- Comply with all company protocols, particularly those related to quality and safety.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks.
- Construct diverse product assemblies with minimal supervision, adhering to blueprints and specifications using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Interpret assembly specifications, bills of materials, and drawings, identifying any discrepancies. Plan the sequential steps for fabricating and assembling mechanical components.
- Assemble components according to technical drawings, ensuring proper fitment, alignment, and functionality, while diagnosing and rectifying any mechanical assembly issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and support environmental initiatives.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for products, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in various areas of the manufacturing facility as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required; experience in automated manufacturing is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational training in CNC machine setup, electrical work, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are essential; proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and sketches is mandatory.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to understand and convey technical information accurately.
- Solid mathematical skills, including basic geometry, are required.
- Familiarity with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), is preferred.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, measurements, and tolerances is essential.
- Reliable attendance is expected.
