Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced dental assistant to join our team at Capozzi Dental Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in providing top-notch dental services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced dentists chairside, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use
  • Break down treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly
  • Participate in daily morning meetings and team schedule reviews to anticipate the doctor's needs
  • Set up trays as indicated by the day's charts and doctor's anticipated needs
  • Greet, seat, and screen patients, communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor
  • Take alginate impressions, pour and trim models, or scan using the iTero scanner
  • Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as needed
Requirements:
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient interaction
  • Dental assisting experience and radiation health safety and infection control certifications
  • Willingness to learn and grow, with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A desire to become part of our family-oriented team and support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible
