Job Title: Assistant Program Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Program Manager to join our team at GIL Foundation. As a key member of our residential care program, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our staff, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

About the Role:

The Assistant Program Manager will work closely with the Program Director to oversee the daily operations of the residential care program, including staff supervision, program planning, and resident care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents
  • Develop and implement program plans to meet the needs of residents and staff
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and GIL Foundation policies
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve program operations
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience in human services, preferably with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations and GIL Foundation policies
  • Ability to develop and implement program plans to meet the needs of residents and staff
