About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Knudtsen Foothills Lincoln Mazda. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling new and used cars to customers, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach and greet customers, offering assistance and direction as needed.
  • Determine customer needs and preferences, performing vehicle walk-arounds and taking customers on test drives to facilitate a successful sale.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and options to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Write complete paperwork according to dealership standards, working with the sales manager to close deals and turn over paperwork to the finance department.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Maintain prospect development and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Complete required training and stay up-to-date on new products, features, and accessories.
Requirements
  • A team player with excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in automotive sales is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computers, basic software, and the ability to learn database management and customer relationship software.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and a criminal background check.
Working Environment

The Sales Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors on the sales lot. The employee will be exposed to various weather conditions and may be required to work in a loud environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderately loud.
