**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Administrator Assistant to join our team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a medical setting, greeting patients and visitors, checking them in and out, and obtaining necessary documentation.
  • Verify and enter demographic information, obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification, and complete medical record release requests.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, enter, review, and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily.
  • Collect co-payments and reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
  • Offer general office and clerical support to assigned areas.

About You:

  • You have a high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
  • A background in call center or high call volume experience, medical field experience, and ability to multitask would be an added advantage.
