Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Training Specialist to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our staff and stakeholders.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure that all training programs and materials are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Staff Development: Work with managers and supervisors to assess and enhance the skills of our team members.
  • Training Delivery: Schedule and organize training sessions, including inviting staff, confirming attendance, and ensuring attendees receive credit for participation.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate internal and external reports in a timely manner, and maintain up-to-date documentation on areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education or a social services field.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of previous training experience within health and human services programs.
  • Skills: Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Certifications: Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.
