Role Summary
The Community HigherEd Institute is in search of a dedicated professional to serve as a Customer Relations Specialist. This role involves working during afternoons and evenings at the front desk, acting as the initial point of contact for visitors both in person and over the phone, while fostering a culture of exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing multi-line phone systems, assisting clients with service scheduling, operating the salon register, and demonstrating proficient cash-handling capabilities. Daily interactions will occur with students, management, vendors, and staff, ensuring that the institution's high standards and core values are consistently represented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome all guests entering and exiting the facility.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, transferring calls and taking messages as necessary.
- Utilize the Millennium register for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and drawer balancing.
- Maintain communication with maintenance and housekeeping teams.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes.
- Organize materials and data in both physical and digital formats.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Engage daily with students and clients, upholding the institution's high-quality standards and values.
- Provide general product knowledge to customers.
- Report any complaints to the supervisor or general manager.
- Complete necessary incident reports for HR.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
- Participate in at least two professional development activities annually.
