Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and life insurance.
- Facilitate benefits enrollment and re-enrollment activities, particularly during open enrollment periods.
- Provide timely and accurate information to employees regarding benefit options, eligibility criteria, and coverage details.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits promptly and professionally.
- Maintain precise and current records of employee benefits.
- Conduct audits of benefits programs to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Evaluate the performance of benefit plans and suggest enhancements.
- Support the creation and implementation of new benefits initiatives.
- Engage in employee communication and educational efforts regarding benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration is required.
- In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and disability coverage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Job Details:
- Contract position
- Standard workweek: Monday to Friday
- Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience
