Job Summary

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for The Charles Hotel. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct sales calls, meetings, and presentations to promote The Charles Hotel's services and facilities
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to achieve hotel-wide sales targets and revenue goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
