Job Title: Manufacturing Applications Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Applications Engineer to join our team at The Robert E. Morris Company. As a key member of our sales and technical support team, you will be responsible for the part programming of CNC machine tools, process development, and customer training in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-sale activities, including customer visits, machine assessments, and proposal development.
  • Program and set up CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss style lathes.
  • Develop and implement custom demonstrations and training programs for customers.
  • Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on machining background with at least 2 years of experience with CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of Okuma and Fanuc controls, along with builder or distributor experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
