Assembler - Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Global Technical Talent. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly Operations: Assemble products using various hand tools and equipment, adhering to specifications and standards.
- Quality Control: Perform individual quality inspections throughout the assembly process, identifying and setting aside parts with defects.
- Production Scheduling: Work from sample fixtures and adhere to production schedules as determined by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
- Material Handling: Handle and move parts from storage locations to work cells, and assist the Material Handler in obtaining parts as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Supervisor or Team Lead to perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
- Geographic Location: Must be able to reside in the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of Windsor, CT.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Must be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment required and comply with all Safety policies.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other Production paperwork, and comprehend and follow instructions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Must be able to identify that the components used meet quality standards, and apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve assembly operations.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and be flexible when required, and willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
- Assembly Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
