Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinating Teacher, Regional Achievement Specialist to join our team at Wake County Public Schools. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of educational systems, instructional design, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in data analysis of district and school level academic and behavioral data to inform programmatic recommendations.
  • Coordinate activities to support the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices and interventions.
  • Deliver support to schools based on outcome and implementation data to drive student achievement.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators and cross-functional teams to foster organizational alignment and commitment to system-wide goals.
  • Stay current on research and policy changes that impact instruction, curriculum, and environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an elementary or secondary content or teaching.
  • Demonstrated successful teaching experience.
  • Experience in designing and delivering professional development to meet the identified needs using a variety of modalities.
  • Hold or be eligible for North Carolina Professional Educators License in the field of elementary or secondary education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading effective teams.
Work Environment
