Our team is advancing in chemical, mechanical, and systems engineering to make carbon transformation an economically viable industrial reality through a groundbreaking technological approach. Following the successful completion of our medium-scale Proof-of-Concept, we are progressing towards our pioneering industrial-scale electrolyzer and establishing crucial partnerships for future commercial deployment.

Your Mission

Dioxycle is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Head of Business Development to join our team during this critical transition from internal prototyping to commercial demonstration and rollout. Collaborating closely with the CEO and finance team, you will refine the go-to-market strategy and spearhead commercial partnership development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

Go-to-market Strategy:
  1. Enhancing the go-to-market strategy informed by internal business insights and external customer interactions.
  2. Assisting in the definition and execution of the business model in partnership with finance and operations teams.
Commercial Partnerships:
  1. Utilizing your network to lead the creation of new commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements with key chemical offtakers and consumer brands.
  2. Collaborating with legal counsel and the finance team to craft innovative commercial agreements that align with project finance strategies.
  3. Engaging with external stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and funding organizations, to ensure projects meet industry standards, customer expectations, and profitability goals.
Effective Communication and Reporting:
  1. Providing clear and concise updates to all stakeholders, highlighting project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights for continuous improvement.
Team Building and Leadership:
  1. Developing and managing the commercial team as we scale.

We are looking for a Head of Business Development who is committed to advancing our mission and possesses the skills outlined below. Candidates with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. We seek an individual who is either based in or willing to relocate to key areas.

Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Exceptional problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Extensive network within the chemical and/or consumer product sectors.
  • 15+ years of experience in the origination, development, and realization of commercial partnerships for the deployment of pioneering technologies (in sectors such as sustainable chemicals and/or sustainable aviation fuels).
  • Proficiency in collaboratively drafting legal agreements with legal counsel (including offtake agreements, joint development agreements, etc.) aimed at establishing mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.
