Job Description

Overview of the Role:

The Financial Operations Manager is tasked with supervising all facets of fiscal management, encompassing corporate accounting, compliance and financial reporting, budget formulation, and forecasting, along with the establishment of internal control policies, procedures, and financial risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and manage the development of the budget and financial forecasts while reporting on variances.
  • Prepare and disseminate timely monthly financial statements.
  • Facilitate the preparation of regulatory reports.
  • Investigate technical accounting matters to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Guarantee quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Manage compliance with local, state, and federal reporting obligations and tax submissions.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Perform additional duties as required for the controller role.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger operations and the month-end/year-end closing cycle.
  • Strong skills in accounting software usage and administration.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

· CPA or similar qualification is advantageous.

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting and finance.
