About the Position:
Wells Fargo is in search of a dedicated Mortgage Retail Sales Associate Manager (SAFE) within the Consumer Lending sector, specifically in Home Lending. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor a team of Home Mortgage Consultants, ensuring effective sales strategies and high-quality customer interactions.
- Manage daily operations and sales activities to maintain compliance and service excellence.
- Develop relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and financial advisors to drive loan production.
- Make informed supervisory decisions regarding team dynamics and operational workflows.
- Identify areas for process enhancement and risk management within the sales framework.
- Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, and development of team members to build a strong sales force.
- Maintain an active presence in the marketplace to promote Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in Mortgage Retail Sales or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven track record in generating sales leads and referrals.
- Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree or higher is advantageous.
Job Expectations:
This role requires registration under the SAFE Act upon employment. Compliance with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's qualifications is mandatory, including financial responsibility and background checks.
