We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to manage production machinery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate extruder and reactor machinery, including line stocking.
  • Package products in sacks and bulk, completing necessary documentation and labeling.
  • Conduct quality inspections, ensuring only premium products are dispatched to clients.
  • Continuously assess product quality, suggesting and implementing corrective measures to maintain established standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues, identifying and executing solutions.
  • Provide operational support for trials, scale-ups, and special projects.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace, including cleaning and preparing packaging materials for reuse.
  • Engage in collaborative reviews of manufacturing processes, recommending enhancements and identifying equipment needs.
  • Document all production activities, downtime, and material movements to ensure accuracy in the QAD business system.
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidates must be capable of operating a forklift, which involves the use of arms and legs, climbing onto the vehicle, and possessing depth perception for stacking and moving materials. Finger dexterity and the ability to see and hear are essential. Candidates should be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Safety equipment includes various forms of PPE such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed footwear. Regular attendance and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, are required based on departmental needs.
