Work Schedule: Nights from 6 PM to 6 AM (Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday / Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday)

We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to manage production machinery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate extruder and reactor machinery, including line stocking.
- Package products in sacks and bulk, ensuring all documentation and labeling is completed accurately.
- Conduct quality and visual inspections to guarantee that only top-tier products are dispatched to clients.
- Continuously assess product quality, suggesting and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain compliance with established standards.
- Assist in diagnosing non-routine or complex equipment issues, identifying and executing effective solutions.
- Provide operational support for trials, scale-ups, and special projects.
- Maintain a tidy work environment, including cleaning and preparing packaging materials (sacks, pallets, etc.) for reuse, and addressing any other areas impacted by operations.
- Engage in cross-functional reviews of manufacturing processes, offering recommendations for enhancements and assessing the need for new equipment.
- Document all production activities, downtime, and material movements to ensure accuracy within the QAD business system.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
This role necessitates effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidates must be able to operate a forklift, which involves the use of arms and legs, climbing onto the vehicle, and possessing depth perception for stacking and moving materials. Finger dexterity and the ability to see and hear are essential. Candidates should be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Safety equipment includes personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed footwear. Regular attendance and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, are required based on departmental needs.
