We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to manage production machinery, ensuring high-quality materials are consistently produced.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate extruder and reactor machinery, including line stocking.
- Package products in sacks and bulk, ensuring all documentation and labeling is completed accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections and visual checks to guarantee only top-quality products are dispatched.
- Continuously monitor product quality, suggesting and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain established standards.
- Assist in resolving complex equipment issues, identifying and executing effective solutions.
- Provide operational support for trials, scale-ups, and special projects.
- Maintain a tidy work environment, including cleaning and preparing packaging materials for reuse.
- Engage in cross-functional reviews of manufacturing processes, recommending improvements and assessing the need for new equipment.
- Document all production activities, downtime, and material movements to ensure accuracy in the QAD business system.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
This role necessitates effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidates must be able to operate a forklift, which involves the use of arms and legs, and possess the ability to climb and work from ladders. Physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, as well as having good vision and hearing. Safety gear such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed footwear is mandatory. Flexibility in working hours, including overtime, may be required based on operational needs.
