Program Support Analyst

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Program Analyst to provide expert support services for a contract focused on the strategic planning, design, construction, delivery, and evaluation of naval vessels managed by the Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and contributes to the development of the Navy's next generation of multi-mission Small Surface Combatants.
Key Responsibilities- Offer guidance and oversight in the collection, assessment, and analysis of data to formulate recommendations for the Government.
- Identify and define the scope of issues.
- Examine pertinent data, which may encompass financial metrics, workforce statistics, or operational expenditures.
- Conduct interviews with management and staff while observing their operational processes.
- Devise solutions to identified challenges.
- Comprehend the organizational structure, its interrelations with governmental entities, and its internal culture while preparing actionable recommendations.
- Construct and resolve mathematical models as needed.
- Communicate findings and suggestions to the Government through written reports and oral presentations.
- Support the implementation of recommendations for various projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures and policies, particularly the DoD 5000 process.
- Experience in communication with senior-level personnel.
- Possession of a Secret Clearance.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Military Friendly Employer
Compensation: The estimated starting salary range for this position is $60,000-$110,000 annually, reflecting the general guidelines for the geographic area. When extending an offer, Vosper Thornycroft Group considers various factors including work experience, education, skill level, and market conditions.
