Position Overview

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Program Analyst to provide professional support services related to the planning, design, construction, delivery, and testing of naval vessels. This role involves collaboration with the Guided Missile Frigate Program Office, which is responsible for the development of the Navy's next generation of multi-mission Small Surface Combatants.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Offer expert guidance and oversight to gather, assess, and analyze data to formulate recommendations for the Government.
  2. Identify and define the scope of issues encountered.
  3. Evaluate pertinent data, including financial metrics such as annual revenues and expenditures.
  4. Conduct interviews with management and staff while observing operational processes.
  5. Devise effective solutions to identified challenges.
  6. Gain an understanding of the organization’s structure, its interactions with other governmental entities, and its internal culture to prepare informed recommendations.
  7. Develop and solve mathematical models as necessary.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations to the Government through written reports and oral presentations.
  9. Support the implementation of recommendations for various projects.
Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures and policies, particularly the DoD 5000 process.
  • Experience in communication with senior-level personnel.
  • Possession of a Secret Clearance.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Military Friendly Employer

Compensation: The estimated starting salary range is $60,000-$110,000 annually, which serves as a general guideline for the geographic area. When extending an offer, Vosper Thornycroft Group also considers factors such as work experience, education, skill level, and market conditions, which may result in an offer that falls outside of this range.
