Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist II to join our team at First Horizon National Corporation. As a Risk Management Specialist II, you will be responsible for performing confidential research and investigations of financial crimes, including money laundering and other illicit activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Monitoring: Monitor all aspects of client relationships and conduct customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence when necessary.
  • Transaction Analysis: Analyze client account transactions to detect suspicious activity and make decisions on appropriate action to take regarding the need for further investigation.
  • Investigative Reporting: Document the summary of investigative findings and prepare cases for review and approval by management.
  • Risk Rating Recommendations: Provide risk rating recommendations to management for clients' relationships reviewed, by determining if client is low or potentially high risk.
  • Onboarding Support: Review and analyze prospect client(s) prior to onboarding.
  • Team Support: Support management teams, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly activities are completed on time.
  • Exams and Audits: Participate in exams/audits by assisting in gathering of data for federal regulators, state examiners, independent auditors, and law enforcement.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED and 0-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Compliance and Risk Management Experience – 0-2 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Banking experience.
