Armstrong Transport Group, LLC, is a leading third-party logistics provider based in Charlotte, NC. Established in 2006, we have witnessed remarkable growth, expanding our workforce by over 60% since early 2021. Our extensive nationwide network comprises independent agents operating from 125 locations across the country. We cater to our clients' diverse needs by offering a wide range of services, from Less Than Truckload (LTL) to full truckload, international shipping, intermodal solutions, and everything in between. Currently, we boast over 150 agent offices and a team of 1000 logistics professionals nationwide. Our customers, carriers, and agents are supported by a dedicated team of more than 100 corporate employees.

We are in search of a Logistics Capacity Specialist to bolster our Sales team. This role involves

maintaining and nurturing established business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster relationships with clients, agents, and team members
  • Investigate load details
  • Document client inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with shipping carrier standards and regulations
  • Negotiate pricing and costs associated with carrier services
  • Update service-level reports and analyze performance outcomes
  • Address ongoing performance concerns with the Carrier Relations Manager
  • Collaborate on rate and schedule negotiations, implementing time and cost-saving strategies
  • Provide carriers with technology and data to ensure seamless communication
  • Partner with carriers to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong professional relationships
  • Experience working with carriers and operational expertise in logistics
  • Proficient in data analysis and effective communication of information
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple projects and issues in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
