Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work both onsite and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee and manage compensation and benefits accounting.
  • Review general ledger entries and correct any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and other applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve accounting procedures.
  • Provide support for annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is a strong plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proficiency in compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
