The responsibilities of the Culinary Innovation Manager encompass timely responses to requests generated by field teams and distributors regarding catalog requirements. This position requires coordination among distributors, relationship managers, and various functional teams to ensure that the catalogs feature the products specified by the organization.
Strong time management capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential. Exceptional customer service skills are necessary to effectively engage with suppliers and internal personnel while upholding a positive representation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities? Analyze expenditure data to enhance SKU optimization.
? Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to identify necessary ingredients for product development.
? Organize innovation workshops with suppliers and culinary experts.
? Provide weekly reports for culinary and marketing initiatives.
? Conduct product evaluations in partnership with culinary teams, suppliers, and contract managers.
? Transition spending on major product categories to strategic vendor partners to enhance organizational productivity.
? Work with regional teams to fulfill responsible sourcing commitments and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
? Review purchase requests outside the approved catalog, making informed decisions based on enterprise value and client satisfaction.
? Serve as a liaison between the culinary department, field teams, internal supply chain management, and suppliers to gather insights on menu requirements and ingredient specifications.
? Participate in organizing and facilitating training sessions, webinars, and conference calls.
? Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the responsibilities outlined above.
? Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of sourcing and procurement tools is advantageous.
? Comprehensive understanding of culinary ingredients is crucial.
? Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
? Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
? Demonstrated initiative and decision-making skills to determine appropriate actions.
? Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively.
? A bachelor's degree is preferred.
? Experience in Aramark or a similar operational environment is a plus.
