Responsibilities

As a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect at Pactiv Evergreen, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing enterprise-level solutions that align with our strategic business objectives and technological vision.

Your role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to identify their needs and translate them into scalable and secure architectural frameworks. You will also lead a team of architects focused on security.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed architecture blueprints that illustrate the current and future states of our IT landscape.
  • Partnering with business leaders and IT teams to define strategic objectives and requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
  • Leading architecture reviews and providing guidance on design decisions to ensure compliance with architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Assessing the security posture of existing systems and recommending enhancements to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity, integrating them into our architecture and security strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls, protocols, and measures to protect our data, systems, and networks.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, streamline operations, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our architecture.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar capacity, with a robust background in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and practices, with a keen interest in expanding expertise in this area.
  • Familiarity with security architecture design, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to addressing architectural challenges.
