Position Details:Working under the guidance of the Senior Manager, GIS Consulting, you will be responsible for executing consulting projects by developing strategies and solutions that enhance customer revenue and shareholder value.
Your role includes generating incremental sales by focusing on facility maintenance, cost-saving methods, and documentation.You will also provide guidance on indirect material supply chain consulting, covering eCommerce strategy, product assessment, technical integration, and cost-saving initiatives.
By identifying opportunities to reduce procurement costs and boost sales, you will play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency.
Your engagements will leverage our value proposition, product offerings, and service capabilities, including Managed Inventory Solutions.You Will:
- Drive sales growth through indirect material supply chain consulting in areas such as facility maintenance, cost-saving strategies, and operational optimization.
- Collaborate with customers to develop procurement strategies and lead efforts to implement comprehensive solutions.
- Define business strategies to lower supply chain costs by utilizing our products and services.
- Offer market and customer insights based on analysis and deliverables.
- Advocate for our solutions to boost revenue, cut costs, and accelerate contract revenue growth.
- Develop cost-saving methods and materials for customers, manage change processes, and establish critical business processes to support solution development.
- Assess key business relationships to position our solutions effectively to customers and leverage project management skills for successful implementations.
- A college degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including leading customer teams, projects, and deliverables.
- Strong conceptual skills to convert business concepts into opportunities leveraging enterprise capabilities.
- Experience implementing new concepts in established industries.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and experience in supply chain consulting.
- Knowledge of Internet-based technologies, eCommerce models, and indirect materials management.
- Track record of presenting new concepts to clients and managing conflicts effectively.
On average, travel is expected to be between 40% - 60%.
