We are seeking part-time, long-term Retail Sales Specialists for The Spice & Tea Exchange, a unique retail establishment that offers a variety of spices, herbs, teas, spice blends, custom-blended rubs, and related accessories.

Responsibilities:

At The Spice & Tea Exchange, our team members are expected to:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
  • Utilize our signature follow-up lines to engage with customers.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the store, including shelves, counters, and display areas; promptly inform management of low stock.
  • Price merchandise accurately with labels, SKU numbers, and locations.
  • Blend and package products as needed.
  • Assist customers in locating requested items, answer questions about products, pricing, and usage, while building rapport to encourage repeat visits.
  • Stay informed about our products by reading relevant materials and participating in training sessions.
  • Adhere to operational standards and procedures for daily store functions.
  • Help maintain the store's appearance by participating in daily cleaning tasks.
  • Be reliable, flexible with scheduling, and willing to work evenings and weekends.

No prior experience is necessary; we provide training.


Preferred Skills:
  • Strong customer focus with excellent service skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and following recipes.

Compensation:
