We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Orthopaedic Associates (Panama City). Key Responsibilities- Phone and In-Person Support: Respond to incoming calls and greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, assessing the urgency of each call and routing it to the appropriate extension.
- Preregistration and Scheduling: Interview patients and/or family members to obtain necessary information for preregistration, and use automated systems to expedite patient scheduling.
- Data Entry and Verification: Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into our computerized scheduling and billing system.
- Referral and Follow-Up: Assist clinics with referrals by entering them into the system and scheduling follow-ups with patients.
- Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management, and be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience scheduling in a medical office environment, with a thorough understanding of medical office workflows and 1 year of experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
- Competitive Salary: From $15.00 per hour.

- Clinic Setting: Monday to Friday, in a medical office environment.
