Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay with us is memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
  • Check-in and check-out guests, assign rooms, and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist guests with booking reservations, canceling reservations, and arranging special services as needed.
  • Minimize loss of revenue by adhering to established credit and inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure adherence to hotel credit limits and verify accuracy of registration information.
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding the use of cash banks, drop/deposit logs, and other financial procedures.
  • Diffuse conflict or tense situations with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any safety issues to management immediately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.
  • Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.
  • Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy.
