The Eastern Divisional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations across 9 Senior Regional Director (SRD) territories, in addition to our Privates and Alternatives Specialist team. This role requires leading the division to achieve gross and Net Notional Contribution from Fees (NNCF) goals within our Mutual Fund, SMA, and Private/Alternative offerings.

Responsibilities include developing a high-performing team to achieve strong sales results across RIAs, Wirehouse, and Independent Broker Dealers while ensuring the team develops new relationships with advisors and strengthens those that exist.

This position requires a strategic sales professional with extensive experience in Intermediary Distribution, capable of navigating between big-picture thinking and micro-level execution.

A key aspect of this role is building strong relationships with clients, their Centers of Influence, and sales leadership teams, as well as internal stakeholders within Voya Investment Management.
  • Attract, retain, manage, and develop SRDs within the division to ensure focus and execution in accordance with the Intermediary channel goals and objectives.
  • Increase sales and assets of Voya Investment Management's Mutual Fund, SMA, and Private/Alternatives offerings across RIAs, Wirehouse, and Independent Broker Dealers.
  • Analyze performance of sales team to recognize top performers and address shortfalls to ensure sales teams are supported effectively.
  • Provide senior sales leadership with market intelligence, including sales trends, product demands, competitor intel, and recommend solutions to address findings.


Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of success in sales management and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.

Key qualifications include:
  • 10 years of previous wholesaling experience required.
  • Five plus years of divisional sales management experience strongly desired.
  • Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time and reside within the region managed.
  • Strong grasp of capital markets, financial products, market dynamics, and intermediary distribution.
