Key Responsibilities- Assist the Attorney for the Commonwealth in representing the people of the Commonwealth in traffic and criminal cases.
- Provide legal support and advice to the Attorney for the Commonwealth.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the Attorney for the Commonwealth in court proceedings.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prosecute cases.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with public officials and the general public.
- Graduation from an accredited school of law.
- Eligibility to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Strong knowledge of general and governmental law.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. This is an hourly position not to exceed 29 hours per week. A criminal history record check and fingerprinting is conducted on all persons conditionally offered employment.
