Front Desk Representative

About the Role:
* Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, and answer questions from potential or current patients.
* Schedule patients, coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancellations.
* Collect new patient intake information, track all clinic referrals, fax reports to physicians, and keep a log of incoming reports.
* Verify Insurance, track insurance-covered visits, take copayments, check mail, and communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival.
Responsibilities:
* Handle patient scheduling, appointments, and multi-phone line communications.
* Gather new patient data, track all patient referrals, and disseminate information to patients.
* Act as a go-between for patients and physicians, send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors.
* Collect payments, verify insurance, and distribute mail to proper areas or people.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented.
* Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity, and empathetic toward people in pain.
* Excellent at handling details, communicating, and multitasking.
* Must be available to work mornings.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
