Job Overview:

The Facilities Space Planning Operations Manager will oversee the daily functions related to the management of interior space design and projects for personnel and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish furniture standards for the planning, configuration, and management of workspaces, including cubicles, personal offices, break areas, and meeting rooms.
  • Facilitate intercompany relocations by producing CAD drawings of existing and new layouts, along with necessary supplies for interior transitions using CAD software or compatible programs.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to obtain quotes for personnel relocation and required materials.
  • Coordinate with the Workplace Solutions team for final approvals regarding space utilization, cubicle and desk arrangements, reconfigurations, and furniture requisitions.
  • Engage with various team sizes to discuss space and design requirements, providing updates to facility management teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in design consultancy services, corporate interiors, or workplace operations. Familiarity with the technology sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in space planning, user research, facilitation, design strategy, and space programming.
  • Ability to make decisions in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Adaptability to change when required.
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 and experienced with computer-aided facility management systems.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, or a minimum of 4 years of facilities management experience, or a combination of education and experience.
