We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advocacy & Communications Program Manager to lead the development and execution of high-impact storytelling, strategic communications, and community engagement initiatives that amplify the voices of key stakeholders in family planning (FP) and reproductive health (RH).

This individual will spearhead multi-country advocacy events, foster partnerships, and build the capacity of global FP/RH communities, with a strong focus on gender and equity integration.

The role will involve working across WHGI platforms and collaborating with Global South institutions to align advocacy efforts with research and policy goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement editorial strategies that reflect WHGI's mission and amplify the voices of underrepresented communities.
  • Lead and support the development, management, and execution of content and engagement campaigns to elevate FP/RH advocacy.
  • Collaborate with network members and key stakeholders to generate compelling stories and content highlighting emerging trends and critical issues in FP/RH.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success, including overseeing timelines, deliverables, and budgets for advocacy and communications initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate training and capacity-building activities in advocacy, communications, and knowledge management aimed at empowering FP/RH communities.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in related field.
  • Four years related experience.
  • Strong background in FP/RH, communications, advocacy, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in leading content development, storytelling, and program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including digital content creation and media engagement.
