About the Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a sales-focused career with an opportunity for career advancement. This quota-carrying role primarily supports the Western Region sales efforts, with a mission to build a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities in the mid-market space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify leads for the Western Region Senior Account Executive (AE) through cold calls, research, and digital sales technologies.
  • Conduct research on companies and their competitors to stay updated on key industry trends and issues impacting sales efforts.
  • Set and facilitate introductory meetings for assigned AE(s) to drive incremental pipeline in assigned territory.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Answerthink and SAP AE's, to pursue business opportunities.
  • Update and maintain data in Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting.
Requirements
  • Strong business acumen and a high-energy team player with the ability to develop strong relationships.
  • A self-starter with a focus on results, drive for personal growth, and excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage or work as part of a virtual team, with a quota-driven mindset and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of business development experience in the software industry.
