Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:
About the Role:
We're looking for a personable, team player who is eager to collaborate with a stellar team of professionals dedicated to your growth and success. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for working with the Sales and Marketing team to develop sales, marketing, and business development strategies. You'll meet sales targets and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Use HubSpot CRM to note all business details after each sales conversation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and structural team to develop and execute an annual sales strategy detailing what actions are to be taken to ensure attainment of company objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Develop a strong understanding of territories and contact all accounts within the territory as per sales strategy.
  • Conduct client visits to identify opportunities, develop relationships, negotiate and close deals that support revenue growth.
  • Coordinate lunch and learn sessions with customers and members of the Architectural & Design community.
  • Assist clients to set specification requirements based on the latest product knowledge.
  • Execute and achieve sales targets.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer base. Pre-plan and have objectives for each sales call having alternative objectives including a commitment to action by the customer.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education.
  • 5-7 years full-cycle sales experience (customer acquisition & retention, upselling, negotiating, and closing deals).
  • Proven record of overachieving sales quotas considered an asset.
  • Experienced with creating strategies and managing outcomes.

This position works primarily remotely and partially in an office environment with occasional time spent within a manufacturing environment. Travel may fluctuate throughout the year. Most travel will be within North America and/or local.
