Fulfillment Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our team at Harvest Hope Food Bank. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient storage, staging, and packing of food products for our partner agencies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store, stage, and pack product safely and accurately using established inventory processes and procedures.
- Ensure pick locations remain full; restack and rearrange product for maximum efficiency.
- Execute timely pulling of large delivery orders in order of importance.
- Verify accuracy of all orders.
- Restock product as needed following specific food storage guidelines.
- Train and direct volunteers on distribution and pulling procedures, reinforcing safe work behavior.
- Monitor picking area, ensuring only designated personnel are present.
- Verify pick bins and work with Inventory and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and researching inventory to verify zeros as needed.
- Assist in pulling product from warehouse to pick slots.
- Replenish distribution bins.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Keep work area organized and sanitized.
- Secure distribution area at end of shift.
- Comply with AIB, Feeding America, and other regulatory agency warehouse standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of experience operating forklift, pallet jack, and other standard warehouse equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; warehouse management systems experience preferred.
- Ability to engage and direct volunteers.
- Ability to interact with others in a diplomatic, courteous, and positive manner, maintaining a professional demeanor and responding with urgency when necessary.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good math skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Self-directed, proactive, and independent problem-solver.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds in a labor-intensive environment.
