Position Summary

The Accreditation Associate plays a key role in maintaining high educational standards for our clients, primarily professional and trade associations. Following Kellen Best Practices, this position supports the coordination, monitoring, and documentation of accreditation activities across various clients and disciplines. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in both collaborative and independent work settings. Experience with accreditation processes, compliance, and quality assurance is essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Plans: Assist in creating and executing accreditation plans, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth and effective operations.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on accreditation standards, best practices, and industry trends to keep our programs ahead of the curve.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed accreditation reports, applications, and self-studies to accrediting bodies and external reviewers.
  • Data Management: Collect and maintain accreditation data and evidence using state-of-the-art tools and systems.
  • Site Visits and Audits: Facilitate and actively participate in accreditation site visits, surveys, and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide expert training and guidance to staff on accreditation requirements and expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners on all accreditation matters.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any accreditation issues and risks, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing quality improvement and enhancement of our organizational programs and services.
  • Project Support: Assist the education department with various projects as assigned, showcasing your versatility and dedication.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Committee Management: Oversee committee operations to ensure alignment with accreditation goals.
  • Speaker Management: Coordinate speaker engagements and manage logistics for accredited events.
  • Continuing Education (CE) and Certification: Create and maintain CE certificates and certificates of completion for attendees at accredited events.
  • Application Management: Assign and manage external applications programs efficiently.
  • Webinar and Scholarship Programs: Manage webinar and scholarship programs, ensuring they meet accreditation standards.
  • Representation: Serve as an education representative at accredited events, embodying our commitment to excellence.

Other duties that align with the mission and vision of the company as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in accreditation, quality assurance, or compliance across multiple disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.

Work Environment

This position operates within an office environment.   • Hybrid Work Environment: All employees located within commuting distance of one of Kellen's offices are required to go in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Flexibility in going into the office additional days may be necessary.
  • Extended Work Hours: The nature of this role may require more than 40 hours per week to fulfill job responsibilities. Additionally, flexibility in working nights and weekends may be necessary. Longer hours, travel, and weekend commitments are typically associated with conferences or special events.
  • Office Equipment Usage: The role routinely involves the use of standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
