About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Medication Coordinator to join our Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team at Fortrea Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in initiating Early Phase clinical trials for our clients with maximum speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high standard of care for participants in clinical trials and respond to emergency situations based upon clinical research standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and control complete records with respect to the investigational product.
  • Receive, inventory, and account for investigational product.
  • Correctly handle and store all materials used on site.
  • Prepare dosing instructions and labels.
  • Prepare complex dosing calculation logs.
  • Provide a suitable supply of emergency use medication.
  • Dose preparation functions as appropriate for all trials.
  • Author and maintain SOPs germane to the pharmacy.
  • Assist the CRU Pharmacist with complex compounding.
  • Responsible for ensuring the supply of all stock items.
  • Ensure compliance with current FDA/GCP/ICH/USP regulations.
  • Perform pharmacy feasibility review of assigned protocols.
  • Maintain client-facing responsibilities with regard to their test material.
Requirements
  • Associate degree/BS degree in nursing or an LVN/LPN degree with oversight provided by on-site Pharmacist at Fortrea sites that have an on-site Pharmacist.
  • Current licensure in applicable state.
  • CPR/AED Certified.
