Your Role:


In this dynamic and specialized nursing role, you will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals to exhibit critical thinking and enhance clinical competencies within a specific area of expertise.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with surgeons to ensure that patient care requirements are met by confirming the availability and functionality of necessary equipment and supplies before each procedure, while also providing training and mentorship to staff members.

This position necessitates a dedication to ongoing professional development and the promotion of Perioperative nursing practices through education, research, and adherence to AORN Guidelines. You will partner with the nurse manager to coordinate, implement, and assess process improvements.



Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • BSN is highly preferred
  • Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required
  • Valid nursing license to practice in Texas
  • On-call duties are required
