We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Oncology to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN) from a professional nursing program.
- At least two years of RN experience in ICU or BMT/Hematology.
- PCU experience will be considered as well.
