Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Classification: Non-exempt, Full-time. This position is part of the HR Partners team, responsible for supporting the organization's administrative functions.
Location: Work from the CBK Office in Topeka, KS, or remotely, depending on the company's needs.
Major Duties:
- Prepare, maintain and distribute paperwork, reports and other documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform data entry for new accounts, utilizing company systems and tools.
- Learn the collection industry by working cases through the legal system, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Job requires a specialized skillset, therefore we will provide on-the-job training and support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with previous office experience and skills preferred.
- Detail-oriented and good organizational skills, with ability to function well in a fast-paced and high energy environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and to learn complicated tasks and demonstrate good decision making skills.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with minimal physical exertion required.
Work Environment:
- Professional and deadline-oriented environment, in an office setting, with occasional interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Work schedule is generally forty (40) hours, though occasional extended hours may occur based on workload and business needs.
- Minimal to no travel, with remote work options available.
- Pay starts at $15 per hour plus bonus, with benefits including 401K match, Health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, Life insurance, and company-sponsored vacation after one year of service.
