Position Summary

As a Client Care Facilitator at Alsana, you will play a crucial role within a multidisciplinary mental health team, assisting therapists, dietitians, and nurses in executing their specific treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the physical and psychological safety of each client by performing assigned tasks, such as monitoring and documenting vital signs, weights, and meal/restroom observations, and reporting findings to nursing staff or physicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations and promptly inform supervisors or therapists of any significant changes, including alterations in vital signs or unusual weight fluctuations.
  • Administer medications and provide First Aid in accordance with facility protocols, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Participate in meals with clients as provided by the kitchen and dietary staff, which is vital for the clients' recovery process.
  • Document client progress following established procedures.
  • Offer one-on-one support to clients in crisis as directed by nursing staff or therapists, adhering to the client's care plan.
  • Assist clients with their nutritional and dietary requirements as outlined by the facility's nutritionist and interdisciplinary team.
  • Keep clients and their families informed, addressing family concerns in a professional and efficient manner, and seeking assistance from licensed staff when necessary.
  • Manage and communicate the level system with clients, notifying licensed staff of any compliance issues.
  • Exhibit professional conduct, empathy, respect, and compassion towards all clients, families, colleagues, and the public as a representative of Alsana.
  • Adhere to the facility's dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and hygienic environment within the facility.
  • Lead or co-lead group sessions for Residential, Partial Hospital, and Intensive Outpatient clients, participating in evening and weekend rotations as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the behavioral health sector.
  • Possession of a valid Class E Driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • L1MA certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
  • Current CPR certification is required, preferably through the American Heart Association, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge of supervising others is essential.
  • Physical capability to perform household duties, including lifting up to 20 pounds and engaging in basic recreational activities.
