KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aligns educational initiatives with regional, group, and corporate objectives through all activities undertaken.
- Ensures compliance with nursing practice standards, company policies, and all regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- Directs all training programs towards fostering a culture of patient safety, achieving clinical quality targets, and enhancing patient outcomes, in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Develops the necessary competencies and skills to effectively educate staff on all chronic kidney disease treatment modalities.
- Encourages a culture of continuous learning through professional development programs, mentorship, and available technologies.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders at all levels to schedule, deliver, and implement educational programs and processes for both new and existing staff.
- Employs suitable educational methods and generational learning strategies to facilitate, support, and assess training effectiveness.

- Utilizes facilitation techniques and a variety of resources to create immersive and engaging learning experiences.
- Maintains open, effective, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, including management, facility teams, healthcare providers, and contracted personnel.
- Exhibits leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, customer service orientation, continuous quality improvement mindset, relationship-building capabilities, critical thinking, team development, employee motivation, performance management, and decision-making skills.
- Supports metric and KPI initiatives through timely data documentation, reporting, and ongoing quality enhancement processes.
- Stays informed about products, services, and strategies to effectively train staff across all modalities.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The physical demands and environmental conditions described are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Daily responsibilities include desk work and personal computer usage, along with interaction with patients and facility/program staff. Travel between assigned facilities and various community locations is required, along with potential attendance at regional and corporate meetings.
- The work environment is typical of a healthcare facility, featuring controlled air temperature and moderate noise levels. Exposure to infectious and contagious materials may occur.
- This position necessitates frequent and prolonged periods of standing, and the employee must be capable of bending. Occasionally, the employee may need to assist in moving equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. and lifting chemical and water solutions weighing up to 30 lbs. to a height of 5 feet.
- Overnight travel may be required for essential functions of this position, maintaining the same physical demands and working conditions as described.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred: Advanced degree (BSN or MSN).
- Current RN state licensure in the primary state of residence.
- Must obtain and maintain RN state licensure in assigned states as directed.
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
- A minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Preferred: CDN or CNN certification, or must attain within 18 months of employment.
- Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, along with all annual and ongoing required education/training/competencies.
The compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
