About the Role

Vista Equity Partners is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our General Partners Programs group. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing and dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carried Interest and Capital Commitments: Prepare and/or review carried interest and capital commitments at an investment level for the Vista General Partner Entities, including ongoing maintenance related to new grants, retirements, or terminations at the transaction level.
  • Allocations and Waterfalls: Calculate and/or review allocations for capital calls and distributions, including carried interest, and break down quarterly fund-level liquidation waterfalls to the deal level.
  • Special Purpose Vehicles: Calculate and/or review waterfalls for special purpose vehicles maintained by the General Partner Program function.
  • Stakeholder Support: Assist in completing requests and projections from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partnership Agreements: Coordinate with internal and external counsel to fundamentally understand partnership agreements for the General Partner entities.
  • Quarterly Close and Reporting: Assist with quarterly close and required reporting to the holding company.
  • Investor Requests: Assist with reporting and investor requests at the holding company related to general partner activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-9 years of professional experience in accounting for private equity and credit products.
  • Strong alternative asset industry knowledge, including experience working across teams and a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with accounting software associated with private equity and onboarding new technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and across an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work product.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple key stakeholders and coordinate across various teams to execute necessary functions and agreed-upon plans.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting is preferred, with a strong preference for additional graduate degrees or certifications (Masters, CPA).
Compensation and Benefits

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $170,000-210,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
