Strategic Content Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Content Leader to join our internal comms leadership team at Meta. This individual will oversee the creative and channels strategies, leading the team that drives our priority campaigns, programs, and key internal moments. They will manage the company events strategy, editorial planning processes, and liaise with the MZ Comms team to maximize the impact of Mark's internal and external communication moments with employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of creative and events experts to develop and execute strategic content plans.
  2. Build a model to consult with internal comms members on their creative strategies, developing content to support campaigns and programs.
  3. Develop and manage our channel strategy, ensuring the right internal comms infrastructure to reach employees.
  4. Consult with internal comms pillars to develop a robust events program educating employees on company strategy and priority messaging.
  5. Partner with MZ Comms on Mark's internal comms moments, exploring opportunities to internalize external moments for maximum impact.
  6. Create a centralized editorial planning process across internal comms pillars, ensuring a complete and consistent understanding of messages delivered to employees.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  2. 10+ years professional experience in internal or corporate communications.
  3. Experience writing for a global audience with multiple types of audiences and channels.
  4. Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely, and valuable content.
  6. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously.
  7. Experience solving problems using judgment and analysis, providing practical, timely, and proactive communications guidance and support.
  8. Experience with events and logistics.

Compensation and Benefits:

$218,000/year to $287,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
