As a Senior Product Design Director, you'll play a key role in defining the future direction of our products. You'll lead a talented team of designers and work closely with engineers, data scientists, and other disciplines to create innovative solutions that meet real user needs.

Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned product design leader to join our team. As a Senior Product Design Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a team of product designers and leaders to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.
  • Overseeing the user experience of a product from conception to launch, working closely with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers.
  • Contributing to strategic decisions around the future direction of our products and services.
  • Designing end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple, elegant, and effective for our users.
  • Cultivating a healthy design process and being a key contributor to our organization's product strategy.
  • Effectively communicating your team's product goals and connecting related projects across the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with 4+ years of design leadership experience and direct reports.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, and user research teams.
  • Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms.
  • Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking, with a focus on developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on impact to people and the company.
  • Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating goals and concepts.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $196,000 to $272,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Location

Our teams are based in Menlo Park, CA, and Seattle, WA. We're open to considering remote work arrangements for the right candidate.
