A.D. Solutions is seeking a proactive IT Systems Coordinator to enhance our technology operations. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional support to both internal and external clients, leveraging your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Oversee licensing and upgrade timelines.
  • Monitor and optimize system and network performance, coordinating maintenance tasks such as backups.
  • Manage and support the technological assets of the organization, including the installation, upgrading, and administration of software and hardware on company devices.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all electronic assets within the company.
  • Provide on-site IT assistance to clients across various regions.
  • Facilitate communication between end users and advanced support teams.
  • Install and configure essential software and hardware components, including printers and network cards.
  • Possess a solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including VPN, Routing, Ports, TCP/IP, and network analysis tools.
  • Hold Network+ and A+ certifications.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in providing technical support for users operating Windows OS and other widely-used Microsoft applications.
  • Supervise, train, and guide the Network Team, focusing on staffing, training, performance evaluation, and goal setting.
  • Direct daily operations, prioritizing tasks, managing triage, and ensuring effective communication and escalation of critical systems/services.
  • Assist in assessing and enhancing the capabilities of team members, including leadership development, process improvement, and understanding product functionality in relation to customer networks and workflows.
  • Provide leadership and direction regarding current team resources and forecast future needs.
  • Organize troubleshooting efforts, repairs, and data recovery initiatives.
  • Create detailed instructions for software installation processes.
  • Oversee root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts alongside Network Technicians and Help Desk staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for both new and existing technicians.
  • Support or train personnel responsible for systems and networks, offering guidance on optimal IT solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend software acquisitions.
  • Assist management in developing or revising processes, protocols, and systems for IT utilization across various departments and projects.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support related to network infrastructure to the sales team.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience; additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in information technology, network management, and help desk support, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
  • Practical experience in managing IT systems and applications, along with troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs or more.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and influencing organizational management.
  • Capability to implement and troubleshoot system changes across diverse platforms.
  • Proficient in drafting technical instructions for system administration and modifications.
